Dodge RAM or RAM Trucks?

The United States is the birthplace of both Dodge and RAM brands. Both brands are mentioned when talking about vehicles you'd associate with the USA.

Used RAM trucks built before 2009 are likely to bear the Dodge RAM brand name. In the UK, many consumers still refer to the truck as a Dodge RAM. However, whilst a RAM Truck used to be a Dodge vehicle, today the two brands are separate, with Dodge known for its performance cars and RAM for its pickup trucks. The brands are still very close. Both were owned by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) and now by Stellantis.

New 'Dodge RAM' trucks are RAM Trucks trucks, not Dodge trucks or Dodge pickup trucks. The RAM Trucks brand is dedicated to producing premium, American Muscle style pickups.
